The story
Starting my career with a commercial general contractor in 2011, I worked on several jobs as a project engineer up to project manager. The pinnacle of my experience was helping complete Globe Life Field in 2020.
My lifelong interest in software was further sparked by the emergence of construction tech like PlanGrid around 2012, which led me to specialize in construction software development in 2014.
This journey culminated in the start of Pangolin. I've experienced first-hand the difference between frustrating and exceptional construction software. Off-the-shelf solutions often overlook these nuances, sometimes becoming more of a burden than an asset, especially for the less tech-savvy users.
My team creates dream software solutions for builders. Equipped with real construction experience, we have a deeper understanding of our clients' challenges than traditional software developers. Custom ERP design + build
The construction subcontractor client used multiple software subscriptions requiring multiple login screens and hopping between tabs. There was also a reliance on spreadsheets and file sharing for key workflows. Additionally, some of these off the shelf solutions missed the nuances of many subcontractors' needs.
The ERP solution is in development and we're excited to see it move the needle for our client.
